We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing awareness and justice to families in Louisville, KY, who has a loved one whos homicide case is unsolved or cold. Our mission is to support these families and work tirelessly to help solve these tragic crimes.
Monica "Diane" Smith (40 Years old) February 9 1935 - February 20 1975. Diane was discovered shot to death in the passenger seat of her car at 7320 Southside Dr around 9:00pm on February 20th 1975. It is believed that she was killed at
Iroquios Park, placed back in her car, and then taken to the location she was discovered. Her daughter Barbra Smith-Miller says " Id like to dedicated the song 'Hold on to memories' by Disturbed to all the heart broken people who have lost someone this way"
Brandon Shirley (26 Years old) December 12 1994 - August 5 2021. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy Brandon Shirley was shot at Rockford Lane Auto Sales, located in the 2600 block of Rockford Lane, around 2:30 a.m .Brandon was in uniform inside of his personal vehicle when someone walked up and shot him. He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital where he died from his injuries. His Father Brian Shirley says " He was a hero and the greatest man I’ve ever met."
Scott Wright (52 Years old) May 9 1968- August 5 2020. Around 2:45 a.m. on Aug. 5th, 2020, Scott Wright was driving home on his motorcycle. He was driving down Crittenden Drive , when a passing-by train forced him to stop. Surveillance video shows a person approaching behind him and then shooting him multiple times. Wright died at the scene. The mother of his children Arienne Owens says " My children visit the spot all the time, watching them grieve is heartbreaking."
Robert 'Tony" Sanders (21 years old) February 29 2000- November 8 2021. Tony was shot around 10:20pm in the 200 block of Cecil Avenue, near West Market Street . He was pronounced dead at the scene. His Mother Capucine Hightower says " The family is asking for anyone that might have any information to please come forward we deserve justice."
Tyreese Gober (18 years old) August 14 2002- December 21 2020. Tyreese was shot around 1:15 in the afternoon in the 2200 block of Dixie Highway, near Harold Avenue, which is not far from Shorty's Food Mart. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His Aunt Doneen Orr says " He left behind his little brother who grieves him every day. Our family couldn't get justice for my sister in life, but hoping and praying our family can in death. "
Michael Henley (25 years old) September 9 1995-January 31 2021. Michael was found deceased on Gene Snyder Highway at the Beulah Church rd. exit around 5am January 31 2021. His brother Tyrell Henley is the co-founder of this nonprofit.
